Naomi McMahan Neaves, age 98, of Pinson, Al died on May 9, 2014 at her residence.

Ms. Neaves was a native of Limestone County but resided in Jefferson County most all of her life. She was a former member of the Fairfield Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son, John Neaves.

She is survived by three daughters, Pat Slama (Dan), Brenda Cooper (Mike), and Marjorie Harden; two sons, James Neaves (Loretta) and Gerald Neaves (Mary); nineteen grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 12 noon at Valhalla Chapel with Pastor Travis officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
