Monte, Nick , born December 12, 1910, of Bessemer, AL, passed away at the age of 97, Friday, December 5, 2008. Graveside Services will be held at Valhalla Cemetery Monday, December 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Gene Wyatt officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Wyatt Monte; his parents, Joseph and Maddlena Monte; brother Sam Monte and two sisters, Josephine Piazza and Rosalie Piazza. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn M. (Don) Harrell; son, Joseph A. (Jeanette) Monte; grandchildren, Monte (Scotty) Morris, Donna Monte and Nick Monte; great grandchildren, William and Andrew Morris.
