Sawyer, Nina Lorene Kitchens , age 95, of Montevallo, AL, originally of Carbon Hill, AL, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Tennyson Sawyer. Her parents were George and Sabrina Stovall Kitchens of Carbon Hill, AL. She is survived by her son, Hal (Inez) Sawyer of Montevallo, AL; daughter, Kathryn Sawyer of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Lynn (Joe) Wooldridge and Tina Sawyer of Montevallo, AL, Chris (Shannon) Sawyer and their children, Sadie Lynne, Adelaide Rose and Ruby Elizabeth Sawyer of Auburn, AL. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
