(Norma) Jean Honeycutt Praytor, age 86, of Bessemer died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at UAB West Medical Center in Bessemer. Mrs. Praytor was preceded in death by her father, Roy Honeycutt and her mother, Margaret Henry Honeycutt and a sister, Frances E. Honeycutt.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. "Tom" Praytor; nephews; Jack Praytor and Rickey Praytor: two cousins, Lee Contorno and Ann G. Domiano; a nephew, Barry and wife Bridgett; nieces, Beverly Clugston, Diane Praytor, and Sandra Praytor Johnson.

Mrs. Praytor was retired and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bessemer and also attended Rock Mountain Church of God.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Valhalla Chapel with the Rev. Randolph Kessler officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
