Norma S. "Jean" Clemons, age 92 of Bluff Park, Hoover, AL died on April 25, 2021 at Oak Park Nursing Home in Auburn, AL.

Mrs. Clemons was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, George G. "Buddy" Clemons and one son, Jeffrey Clemons. She is survived by daughters, Janice (Albert E.) Hammock and Julie Clemons; son, Joel (Suzanne) Clemons; Grandchildren, Sam and Joanna Clemons, Kyle Hammock, Kalee Childee and Kasey Murphy; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Clemons was a native of Ensley and graduated Ensley High School in 1946. She was a long time member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and playing the hand bells. She had an undeniable love for music and was member and former President of the Melodia Music Club and the Alabama Federation of Music Clubs. Mrs. Clemons, being the avid tennis player, played tennis until she was 79 years old and won a state championship in the Doubles.
