Oliver Burgess Coggin,91,of Fairfield,exchanged time for eternity on Tuesday,March 21,2023,surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Judy Coggin, Daughters; Melanie Ann Coggin and Jennifer Coggin. Beloved sister in law Sandy Stratton and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents O.W. Coggin and Erin Young Coggin,brothers; Ollie Coggin,Sammy Coggin,and his son Burgess Coggin. He Served in the Navy before graduating from The University of Alabama. He worked at Southern Company as a civil engineer and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. A Life long Alabama Fan who loved to talk cars and Crimson Tide Football with friends and family.Visitation will be from 10-11am Friday,March 24,2023 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Friday,March 24,2023 at 11am at Valhalla Cemetery. Reverend Roy Williams is officiating.
