Belk, Opal L. , age 82, of Midfield, AL, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009. She was a member of Wilkes Baptist Church, Midfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Donie Lucas Crowe; her husband, Clifton Belk and her son, Gary Clifton Belk. She is survived by her daughter, June (Roger) Edwards and her grandson, Blake Edwards. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 p.m. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Self Nursing Home for the love and care they gave to Ms. Opal.
