Oscar Leon Goodson, of Dolomite, AL passed away on February 4, 2021.

Mr. Goodson was a longtime resident of Dolomite . Mr. Goodson was a member of the American Legion Post 22. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Mr. Goodson was retired from Rollins Trucking as their Chief Mechanic.

Mr. Goodson was preceded in death by parents, Roscoe Holt Goodson and Jettie Mae Goodson, wife, Dorothy Reaves Goodson, grandson, Kevin Lewis, great grandson, Waylon Robert Burnette, great granddaughter,Nichole Lewis, daughter in law, Susie Lewis and a sister. Sandra Scogin

Survivors include his sons; Ricky Lewis, Leon R Goodson (Vicky), daughters; Donna Casey (Jerry), Keva Jones (Gene), grandchildren; Kelly Lundy (Doug), Mary Brown (Adam), Melanie Fittzgerald (Richard), Timothy Goodson, Robert Goodson (Ashley) Ray Burnette, great grandchildren; Lacey Walker, Richard Lewis, Colby Lundy, Lizbeth Brown, Nathaniel Hall, Jobiekate Goodson, Novah Goodson, Harlii Goodson, Destiny Goodson, Abri Goodson, brother, Paul Richard Goodson, sister, Sueanne French, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Monday, February 8, 2021, 2:00 PM at Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home.
