Patricia C.Lamon, age 70, of Birmingham, passed away August 24, 2010. She was an active member of Locust Fork Baptist Church. She was employed by Brookwood Cancer Center. She was born and raised in Tuscumbia, AL. She will be remembered for loving her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all of them. She is survived by one son, Eddie (Kim) Lamon, one daughter, Cindy Land, two brothers; Jim (Betty) Cobb, and Stephen Cobb, two sisters; Kasey Holt and Brenda Barrett.Grandchildren include; Jessica and Allie Bentley and Michael, Jacob, and Nicole Lamon. She also leaves three nieces; Brandy Holt, Angela Duncan, and Donna Lawhead. In addition, she had two nephews; Tim Cobb and Eric Cunningham, as well as numerous friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Lamon''s name to The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund by calling (212) 268-1002 or visiting their website at www.ocrf.org Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:00 am at Locust Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow in Valhalla Cemetery.
