Smith, Patsy Ruth, age 65, of Bessemer, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2008. She was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Adger Cemetery. Rev. John Smith, Jr. and Rev. Bill McCall officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ruth Parsons; her husband, J.R.(Bobby) Smith and her aunt, Nora Franklin. She is survived by her son, Kevin Smith (Tish); daughters, Kari Parker (Jeff) and Kim Kattalia; grandchildren, Kaela, Kristen and Mackenzie Kattalia, Kennedy, Jordan and Cameron Smith, Amanda Grace and soon to be Kathryn Scott Parker; brothers, Eddie Parsons and Bobby Parsons
