Pauline "Polly" Kiker age 89, a resident of Jasper died  on August 6, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed knittng, quilting, camping, cooking, and canning. Polly loved her Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of Eastern Valley Baptist Church until she relocated to Jasper to live with her son. She was a loving wife and caregiver to her late husband Cecil C. Allen until his untimely death. She later married and became a doting wife and caregiver to the late Richard Kiker until his death.

Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Myrtle Smitherman; three brothers, Steve Smitherman, Alton Smitherman and Roland Smitherman and two sisters, Jeanette Harper and Alvis Naramore.

She is survived by her son, Barry (Lisa) Allen; a daughter, Sheron Walser; two stepdaughters, Connie (Bill) Morrow and Gwen Kiker; three grandchildren, Kevin (Kristi) Allen, Garrett (Chelsea) Allen and Brittany Cagle; four great-grandchildren, Saydie Allen, Parker Allen, Eli Allen and Molly Jane Allen; one brother, Bob (Naomi) Smitherman and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 4pm-6pm with funeral services to immediately follow in the chapel of Valhalla Funeral Home, 539 Bessemer Super Highway, Midfield, AL 35228.
