Holley, Sr., Phillip A., age 68, of Bessemer, AL, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Thacker officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Betty Holley; one son, Phillip Holley, Jr.; two daughters, Jo Ann Edmonds (Jerry) and April Matherson (Scott); four grandchildren, Frankie, Laura and Zachary Edmonds and Mylie Matherson; one sister, Paula Beasley; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
