Phillip Lee Nichols "Chief", age 54, of Birmingham, AL passed away Saturday August 12, 2017. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Nichols, his father, Glenn K Nichols Sr. his grandparents, Oscar L. Hobbs, Mable Hobbs, Sylvia Nichols, and Herbert K. Nichols. Mr. Nichols is survived by his daughter, Amanda Nichols and son, Phillip Sotres. Also, by his brothers, Glenn K. Nichols Jr. and Michael K. Farley; sisters, Eva Patterson, Samantha Nichols and LeAnn Fortenberry. As well as 4 grandchildren and a host of other family members. He was loved my many. Funeral services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home and times are as followed: Viewing is on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 5pm-7pm and the funeral is Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11am.
