Eddings, Phyllis Ruth , age 89, of Minor Heights, AL, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009. She was a member of Minor Heights First Baptist Church for 56 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, E. R. "Joe" Eddings; her son, Don (Charlotte) Eddings; her daughters, Joann Eddings and Elaine (Borden) Finch; 10 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Hollis Cooner and Rev. Virgil Key officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
