Ralph "Earl" Anderson, Jr., age 62, of Hueytown, AL went home to be with his heavenly father on August 17th, 2009.
A Birmingham native, Earl graduated from Hueytown High School and attended Auburn University where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He was retired from the design engineering field after 30 years of service in the Birmingham area with Rust Engineering and BE&K Engineering. He was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church for 27 years and Union Hill Baptist Church for Five. He was a kind, loving husband, father, brother and friend.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Earl Anderson, Sr and his mother Virginia Nell Parrish Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Suzanne Mims Anderson; two sisters Barbara Reed (Jim) and Sue Holmes; three sons David (Dana), Joel (Tova), and Scott (Kathy); two daughters Jennifer Newton (Ricky) and Ashley Slater (Josh); ten grandchildren: Tyler (Marissa), Cameron, Savannah, Maggie, Timothy, Katelyn, Nathaniel-Brooks, Christopher, Joshua, and Jacob as well as several niece's and nephews
