Renee Long, age 70 of Hoover, AL ( formerly of Hueytown, AL) passed away on August 5, 2019.  She was a real estate agent for 20 years before retiring.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and aunt who was loved by many and will be dearly.

Renee was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Long; parents, Agnes Gates and Cliff Crowe and one brother, Wayne Crowe.  She is survived by one daughter, Melanie (Matt) Nabors; two grandchildren, Alex and Katelyn Nabors;  one sister, Rachel Oakes; one brother, Dwight Crowe and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday. August 7, 2019 from 12 Noon to 1 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway, Midfield, AL 35228. A graveside service will follow immediately at Valhalla Cemetery.
