Mr. Richard L. Johnson, age 67, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on August 7, 2020. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Levert Johnson and Sarah Nell Johnson. He was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and was retired form the city of Bessemer.

Survivors include his son, Stephen Johnson (Andrea), daughter, Sandra Spradlin (Shane), grandchildren; Brittany Stone (Jacob), Zac Spradlin, Emily Spradlin, great grandchildren, Jaylie Stone, Raven Walden, sister, Debbie McIntyre (Paul), and a aunt, Elaine Chambers (Gary).

Graveside services for Mr. Johnson will be Tuesday, August 11, 2020, 10:30 AM at Valhalla Cemetery.
