Thompson, Richard "Dick" , age 81, of Ensley, AL, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008. He was the former owner of Dick's Place. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served during WWII and the Korean War. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Lavender; 2 nephews and 4 nieces.
