Nabors, Robert C. "Bob" , of Montgomery, AL, passed away at Baptist Medical Center East, Sunday, May 10, 2009. Bob was a loving husband and father, a respected businessman in the community for more than 30 years, and a loyal friend. Bob's forthright spirit, his generosity toward others, and his genuine love of his family and fellow man will be sincerely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and calling him friend. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield, AL, Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery, Monday, May 18, 2009 at Noon. Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy, who cared for him unselfishly throughout his illness. He is also survived by two children and their spouses, Chris and Gail Nabors, and Nan and Mike Stinson, all of Montgomery; five grandchildren, Leslie Blackwell (Jake), Kristy Lackey (Ryan), Paul Nabors, Amber and Jacob Stinson; and three great-grandsons, Peyton Lackey, Coleman and Mason Blackwell. He also has one brother and his spouse, David C. Nabors and Jeanette of Huntsville, AL.
