age 71, of Pleasant Grove, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 at the V. A. Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. He is survived by his wife Kay; daughter, Kim (Barry) Warren; grandchildren, Barick, Karlyn and Brolin Warren, all of Pleasant Grove. He also leaves behind a brother, James (Marilyn) Ray of Margaret, AL. Preceding him in death was his son, Michael, brother, Bill Ray and his parents, Thelma Kiker and Claude Ray. Bob was a retired firefighter with Fairfield Fire Dept. after 33 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime member of Beasley Hunt Club. He was an expert marksman. Visitation will be held Friday, April 2, 2010 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Valhalla Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the staff at the V.A. Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Bob throughout his long battle with Alzheimers.
