Robert Harrison, age 49, of Jasper, Al formerly of Birmingham died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in Jasper, AL.

Mr. Harrison was born in Kentucky and resided in Jefferson County most all of his life. He resided in Jasper the past ten years. He was employed with United Plywood and Lumber, Inc. of Birmingham as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezzie and Elsie Harrison; one daughter, Kayla Shae Harrison; and a sister, Tina Jones.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Bettye Gene Harrison; one son, Robert E. "Bert" Harrison (April); one brother, Ezzie Harrion, Jr. (Lisa); three sisters, Tammy Harrison(Jack), Angelina Jones (Ty), and Connie Chapple (Kelly).

Services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Valhalla Chapel with Pastor Bobby Simmons officiating with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home.
