ge 85, of Vestavia, passed away on November 1, 2007. He was a member of Vestavia Alliance Church. He attended West End High School. He was a member of the Plumbers Local 91, a past member of the State Board of Plumbers and an instructor in plumbers school. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Rev. Ron Higey officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Johnnie George Shepherd. He is survived by one son Robert O. Shepherd Jr. (Sandra) of Pleasant Grove; two daughters, Evelyn Anderson (Derek) of Oviedo FL and Cheryl Leonard (James) of Hoover; six grandchildren, Heather Shepherd, Seth Anderson, DeLaney Anderson-Davis (Jay), Jeffery Leonard (Michaela), Karen Piwetz (John) and Jonathan Leonard (Lindsey); five great great grandchildren; Brothers, John E.
