Robert James Troulias, Jr. age 84, of Hoover died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Oaks on Parkwood in Bessemer.

Mr. Troulias was a life long resident of Jefferson County. After graduating from Tarrant High School, Mr. Troulias served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Hercules Powder Company where he retired after 32 years of service at the Bessemer Plant. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and a Civitan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert James Troulias, Sr. and Ollie Mae Gentry Troulias.

Mr. Troulias is survived by his wife, Joan and son, Todd A. Troulias of Hoover; a sister, Linda Gail Skinner of Trussville as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Chapel with Dr. Greg Corbin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A. M. to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
