Roger Dale Sharp, Jr., age 25, of Adamsville died Monday, June 1, 2015 in Adamsville, Al.

Roger was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County, attended McAdory School where he was active in various sports. He was an avid Alabama fan and supported his nephews in sports and also as Alabama fans. He was fun loving, witty, and a man with a good heart. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward Oliver Bendt and Virgie Pauline Redden.

Roger is survived by his mother, Theresa Renee Allen; father, Roger Dale Sharp, Sr., step mother, Cindy Sharp; four sisters; Virgie Franklin (Andrew), Kailyn Sharp (Chris McGill), Elizabeth Sharp and Amanda McCrary; three brothers, Tony Allen (Jessica), B. J. Sharp, and Jeremy McCrary (Terri); numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Roger Dale Sharp, Sr., B. J. Sharp, Tony Allen, Chris McGill, Andrew Franklin, Adam Franklinstein, Jeremy McCrary, and Marvin Hopkins.
