Boyer, Romie Owen , age 90, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009.
She was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church. She was a former member of East Lake United Methodist Church, a member of the Social Security Alumni Association, NARFE and Toast Mistress. She was a retired Senior Manager with the Social Security Administration.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet DeMay; her grandson, Kerry (Melissa) Forester; her great grandsons, Jake and Nathan Forester; her sister, Hazel Owen Eckhoff and her nephews, Len, David and Wayne Vincent.
Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Monday, December 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Dr. Jim Savage officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, December 14, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in her name to Riverchase United Methodist Church, 1953 Old Highway 31, Birmingham, AL 35244
