Ronald L.Lane, age 63, of Hoover, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010.
He was a member of Metropolitan Church of God. He was the past owner of All American Carpet Care, and the owner of Carribean Ice in Shades Mountain Plaza. He was preceded in death by his parents George C. Lane, Sr. and Betty Lane.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon D. Lane, 1 daughter, Renee (Brian) McReynolds, 2 grandchildren; Brittany Bortz and Tanner McReynolds. He also leaves 2 sisters; Lori (Mike) Ducan, and Myra Reynolds, 1 brother, George C. Lane, Jr. and 6 nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Metropolotin Church of God with burial to follow in Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The Lane family will receive friends at the Church from Noon until 2:00 pm on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Lane's name to the American Cancer Society.
