Baker, Rosalee Boren, went to be with the Lord February 14, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, A. C. Boren. She was a loving, Christian wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was a long-time member of Eastern Valley Baptist Church and presently a regular member of Concord Baptist Church of Calera. She is survived by her husband, Frank Thomas Baker, sons, Daryle Boren of Vestavia, Don Boren and wife Natalie of Vestavia, granddaughters, Ashlee Boren of Vestavia and Jennifer Brown of Hoover, stepchildren, James Baker and wife Merrie, Tish Baker of Montevallo, Tommy Baker, Jr. and wife Deeleen of Jasper, GA., sister-in-law, Faye O'Barr of Bessemer and Laura Boren of Vestavia. Many nieces, nephews and loving friends.Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield, Monday, February 18, at 10:00 a.m., followed by Funeral services officiated by Rev. Paul Davis and Rev. Daryle Nichols in the Chapel at Valhalla Funeral Home with burial at Valhalla cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Concord Baptist Church or Eastern Valley Baptist Church Building Fund.
