age 88, of Hoover, AL, passed away on August 23, 2007. He was married to Alice H. Cook for 64 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a WWII combat Naval Vet and friend. Funeral services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 1:00 PM with burial in Genry's Gap Cemetery. Rev. Scott Bush officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. He is survived by his wife, Alice H. Cook of Hoover, AL; sons, Michael R. (Lynne) Cook of Woodstock, AL and Joel S. Cook of Yelm, WA; daughter, Dessie Brown of Woodstock, AL; grandchildren, Joley Leach (Phillip), Katie Barnes and Brett Barnes; brother, Junior Cook (Margie) of Columbus, GA; sister, Dessie Betz (Walter) of Gadsden, AL and a host of devoted family and friends.
