Moon, Ruth Roberson , of Pleasant Grove, AL, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009 at the age of 89. She was a member of Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church. Her favorite pasttimes were listening to music and spending time with her family. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore J. Moon; her parents, D.O. and Laura Roberson and her brother Johny Roberson. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Moon Jackson (Wayne); her sons, Joel A. Moon (LaDonna) and Jerry Moon; her grandson, Randy Jackson; her granddaughters, Shelby and Shea Moon; her brothers, Billy Ray Roberson (Jane) and Ralph Roberson (Barbara); several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
