Mrs. Sammie Grady Lee, age 84 of Adamsville, Alabama passed away on July 15, 2020. She was the daughter of the late, Sam and Millie Grady both who preceded her in death.

Sammie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and woman of GOD.  She married the love of her life Dewey Lee on April 16, 1954 and the two remained married until his untimely death in April of 2010. Sammie  was also an avid fan of the Crimson Tide football and Nascar Racing, on any given day she could be found enjoying the sports on tv when not able to attend the live events. Sewing and making quilts to keep the hearts and souls of others warms was just another one of her hobbies in addition to working in her yard where she grew beautiful hydrangeas. As a committed woman of GOD, Sammie enjoyed reading her bible daily, caring for others and spending time making memories with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and granddaughter, Samantha Short.

Sammie leaves to cherish her memories two children, Dewey Bernard (Pam) Lee and Evelyn (Wayne) Mauldin; three  grandchildren, Jennifer Hernandez, Brandon (Miranda) Mauldin and Ronny Short; two great grandchildren, Aidan Hernandez and Jakob Mauldin; one sister, Elizabeth Wade and many other relatives and friends.

Sammie will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
