Samuel "Jack" Essary, age 84 of Hueytown passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at his home.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mildred Essary; one son, Quintin Essary and one grandson, Samuel James Essary.

He leaves to cherish his memories children, Debra "Debbie" Essary, Greg (Rhonda) Essary, Edmond (Mary Ann) Essary, Gayle (Philip) Murray, and Samuel (Sherri) Essary, Jr; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17th from 11:30 am until the 1:30 pm funeral hour at the Valhalla Funeral Home''s Chapel. Rev. Philip Murray will be officiating.
