Sandra P. Clark ("Gracie"), 72, passed away October 25, 2022 in her home in Hoover, AL surrounded by her family. Sandra was born on September 11, 1950, in Washington, DC and was the oldest of 5 children born to Merle and Cecelia Pederson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Cecelia; and her brother, Robert. She is survived by Rod, her husband of 50 years; her daughter, Tracey; her son, Brian (Marianne); her sisters Jean Blank (Marty), Susan Allen (John) and Donna Blackwell (Alan); 3 grandchildren; and 3 grand fur babies. Sandra graduated from Montevallo in 1972 and married her college sweetheart in September of that year. Soon after, she began her lifelong career as a legal secretary. She enjoyed watching tennis, softball and the Auburn Tigers and loved reading mystery novels. She was a devoted wife and mother and had the most caring heart, always wanting to help those around her, and she will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held on November 12, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Valhalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice or Enhabit Home Health & Hospice.
