Sandra Jo Nixon, age 62, of Danville died Monday, March 18, 2013 in Decatur.

Mrs. Nixon was a native of Jefferson County where she was raised in Fairfield and a graduate of Fairfield High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Liddie Fowler.

She is survived by her husband, Richard "Hippie" Nixon of Danville; two daughters, April Dawn McDonald (Michael) and Becky Brown (Lee); four grandchildren, Cody McDonald, Brandy McDonald, James Brown, and Jade Brown; one sister, Judy Antonio(Norman); one nephew, Norman Antonio, Jr.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Valhalla Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
