Sara L. Chandler, age 99 of Montgomery died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Crowne Nursing Home in Montgomery.

Ms. Chandler was a native of Jefferson County where she lived most all of her life and had resided in Montgomery for the past four years. She was a member of Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church and a former member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. J. Chandler; a daughter; and two sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary J. Buckelew (Woody) and Sherry Salter (Jeff); four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; a nephew; several nieces, family and friends.

Services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Sammy Razick officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
