Sara Bice Sawyer, 91 passed away peacefully on Sunday June 28, 2020.

She graduated from Bessemer High School. Sara resided in Hueytown since 1964.She was employed at Long-Lewis Ford for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Branch Bice, father, Willis Bice and her beloved brother, Billy.

She is survived by six nieces and nephews and special friends,May Kay Woodham and Thomas Wilson.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, July 2, 2020, 11:00 AM at Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Journey Hospice of Jefferson County.
