Sarah Walton Vines passed away February 8, 2008. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James G. (Son) Vines, Jr., her parents, Marshal and Beatrice Sloggett Walton, her brothers, Herbert and James Walton, and her sisters, Louise McCain and Mildred Walton. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Patti and John Bauer, her granddaughter, Emily (Brandon) McCaffety, and her great-granddaughter, Jenna McCaffety. Services will be held at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Monday, February 11, at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Donny Acton officiating. Burial will take place at Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to New Hope Church's mission endowment fund or a favorite charity.
