Cornell, Scarlett Lace Broadway, age 20, died August 16, 2010. She was born and raised in Bessemer, she currently lived in Kingsport, Tn. She is survived by her husband Joseph Cornell, two sons; 3 year old Joseph , Jr. and 1 year old Wayne, her parents Carl & Candy Broadway, grandparents, Curtis and Candy Murray, Henry and Susan Lee, and John and Yvonne Broadway great grandparents; Carl and LaJean Franklin, two sisters; Satiny Hope Broadway, hazel Yvonne Broadway, two brothers; Carl Broadway, Jr. , Noah Broadway, six uncles; Johnny (Sieby) Broadway, Jimmy (Selena) Broadway, Nelson (Connie) Hicks, Henry Christopher Lee, Richard Lee, Teddy Lee, and three aunts; Lisa (Tom) Lee Stanley, Jerry Lee, and Melody (Donnie) Lee Marks. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Valhalla Funeral Home on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 3:00 pm with burial to follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm and Friday, August 20, 2010 from 5:00 pm until11:00 pm.
