Obituary
Sherry Allen Stone, age 60, of Hoover went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Sherry was a long time resident of Hoover. She served for many years in the Telecommunications industry and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter who always lovingly cared for her family. Sherry loved spending time with her family and loved to laugh. She was a member of Bluff Park Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her father, James "Dadda Bear" Stinson.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Stone; a daughter, Ashley Frances Perry (Greg); a son, Aaron Allen (Kristina); four grandchildren, Alhanna Allen, Alyssa Allen, Jake Perry, and Brooks Perry; her mother, Frances Moore Stinson "Dear"; and a brother, James William "Bo" Stinson, Jr. (Michelle).
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Rev. Reid Crotty. There will not be a visitation.
