Shirley Watkins Pratt, 87, of Birmingham, AL, passed peacefully, December 19, 2022, into the presence of her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Wilkes Baptist Church and North Shelby Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three children: Patti Clark, (Cary), Jay Pratt, (Kathy), and Tommy Pratt. Her grandchildren were the light of her life: Amy Hyde, (Joey), Emily Lisle, Peyton Hale, (Clark), Jake Pratt, and Will Pratt. She had 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 70 years, John W. "Rooster" Pratt.

A Celebration of Life service will be held, Thursday, December 22, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Barry Daniel will be officiating. There will be a private family graveside service, with interment at Valhalla Cemetery.

Our family would like to thank the Administration, Nurses and CNA's of Columbiana Health and Rehab for the love and care shown to our Mother during the last month of her life. It was truly a blessing and comfort to know she was being taken care of by such a wonderful staff. They treated her with dignity and respect, as if she were their own Mother. We will be forever grateful to them.
