Steven Alan Headley, age 66 of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, passed away on January 2, 2024.  He was born on January 18, 1957 in Birmingham, Alabama to James P. Headley and Virginia R. Headley.  He is survived by his sister JoLane Gable (Philip) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Nieces; Jamie Gable Guida (Dario) of Destin, Florida, Cassie Shears of Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Great Neices and Nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents James P. Headley and Virginia R. Headley. Steve graduated from Ensley Highschool class of 1975.

He attended Jefferson State Community College and the University on Alabama at Birmingham where he studied business.  Steve worked for Winn Dixie Grocery Store for over 25 years. He worked in the Produce Department and was dedicated to providing the best service to his clients.  He was a long time member of Central Park Baptist Church where he was baptized.  He will be remembered by those who knew him for his kindness, generosity and great sense of humor.  Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway Midfield, Alabama 35228 on Saturday, January the 6th, 2024. Visitation is from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the Service being held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Burial to follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
