Chapman, Sudie B., age 88, of McCalla, died January 8, 2010. She was a 1939 graduate of McCadory High School. She retired from the State of Alabama and later worked at Bessemer Tech. She was also a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Chapmwn was preceded in death by her husband William P. Chapman. She is survived by three sons; Billy Joe (Tanna Faye) Chapman, Mack (Teddie) Chapman, and Roy Neal (Debra) Chapman. She also leaves one daughter; Anita Sue (Bobby) Morrison, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Chaple of Valhalla Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in Valla Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening fron 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
