Sue T. Long age 90 of Hueytown passed away on May 25, 2019. She was a loving wife of 52 years, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was an active member of the Hueytown Church of Christ where she served faithfully. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for her family and church family.She proceeded in death by her parents, Leo and Pecola Townley, her husband, Ray W. Long; one son, Stephen Long and two sisters, Nell Minor and Jacqueline England.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter in law, Renee' Long, one granddaughter, Melanie (Matthew) Nabors; two great grandchildren, Katelyn and Alex Nabors, two siblings, Mike Townley and Dibb Holsenback and many other relatives and friends.

The family will received friends from 1pm-2pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway, Midfield, AL 35228. Funeral Services will be held in Valhalla's Chapel at 2 pm with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Ed Rangel, officiating.
