69, of Bessemer, AL died Thursday, December 7, 2006. She was a 1973 graduate of Jefferson State School of Nursing.She was a loving mother and enjoyed music, the piano, and was an avid Bible student. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman W. Edmonds and her mother and father, Terry C. and Louise Vardaman. She is survived by a daughter, Julie Ann Edmonds (Anthony) Tara, of SanDiego, CA; 1 brother, Thomas L. Vardaman of Alexandria, Va; 1 sister, Mary Charles Capp (William C.) of Indian Springs, AL and nephews, Christopher D. Ivey and Michael L. Ivey. Graveside service is Friday, December 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Valhalla Cemetery, Midfield, AL. Dr. Ben Hale is officiating. Visitation is 9 - 9:45 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2006.
