Thelma Maye Horton, 89 of Lipscomb, AL, went to be with the Lord; on Wednesday August 20th.

She was a beloved wife, cherished mother, valued friend, as well as a active member of Union Baptist Church in Lipscomb, AL.

She is survived by her Husband R.C. Horton, son Richard W. Horton; 4 sisters Clestra Muir, Mary Leona Maxwell, Lena Ray Nelson and Vena Faye Bradley.

Funeral services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Monday August 25th, 2014 at 1pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Internment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
