Theodore Jerry Moon, age 76 of Pleasant Grove died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham.

Mr. Moon was a native of Jefferson County where he lived most of his life. He formerly lived in Florida and Pell City, Alabama and was a member of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, T. J. and Ruth Moon.

He is survived by a brother, Joel Moon (LaDonna); a sister, Linda Jackson (Wayne); a nephew, Randy Jackson; two nieces, Shea Powell (Garret) and Shelby Moon; and two great nieces, Brooklyn and Gracelynn.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Funeral Home.
