Thomas Deloy Cannon
May 1, 1932- June 1, 2016
Thomas Deloy Cannon, age 84, of Warrior, AL passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. He was one of ten children born to Tommy and Mamie Cannon. Originally from Millport, AL in Lamar County, Deloy moved to the Birmingham area to work for ACIPCO, where he was a loyal employee and retired from there after over 30 years of service. He was a United States Army Veteran. Deloy was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Warrior. He loved the Lord, his family, Auburn football, and had a true servant''s heart. Deloy is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy R. Cannon; sons, Terry Cannon (Paula), Jerry Cannon (Renea); grandchildren, Jason Cannon (Tiffany), Jennifer Cotton (Brad), and Lindsey Matthews (Tyler); four great granddaughters- Lizzie, Bradlee, Mackenzie, and Mallory; and extended loving family and numerous friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Valhalla Cemetery. Pastor Gary Creel will be officiating.
