Thomas Dudley "Sonny" Wells, age 87 of Brighton, AL died Friday, May 24, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Wells was a native of Mississippi and a long time resident of Brighton, AL. He was a Christian and a retired carpenter and painter.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Goodwin Wells; one son, Tommy Wells (Becky); daughter, Darlene Wells; four grandchildren; Della Higgins, Josh Wells, Stacy Branham, and Amber Kelley; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Billy Wells (Margaret) and one sister, Arlene Wells.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Higgins officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
