Tina Ward Hull, aged 82, of Bessemer, died peacefully at home on November 7, 2024.  She was a 1960 graduate of Shades Valley High School.  She was a member of the Bessemer Jayceettes, Junior Service League of Bessemer, and held various positions with the Greenwood Elementary School PTSO while her children were students.   She was a dedicated student advocate and later worked for the Bessemer School District as well as working in the travel industry for several years.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, William Tate and Josephine Ward, brother Joseph Ward, husband James Frederick Hull, and son James Frederick Hull Jr.  She is survived by her sons Ward Hull (Stacy) of Athens AL and Matthew Hull (Brenda) of Austin TX; brothers William Tate Ward III (Cindy), Nathan Adam Ward (Martha); sister Donna Burkette (Steve); grandchildren Beatrice Hull, Isaac Hull, and Armon Hull as well as many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:30am. at Valhalla Funeral Home, Midfield, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Affinity Hospice, 216 Aquarius Drive, Suite 306, Birmingham, AL 35209. Valhalla Funeral Home directing.
