Outlaw, Allene
Allene Outlaw, age 91, of Central Park, Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 7, 2013.
Mrs. Outlaw was a native of Jefferson County and had lived there all of her life. She was a faithful member of Central Park Baptist Church. In her prime, Mrs. Outlaw loved working in her yard, loved her roses and other flowers, loved birds of all kinds and was an animal lover.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy L. Outlaw; one sister, Kathleen Birdsong; and two brothers, Fred R. Johnson and Robert Ealon Johnson.
She is survived by her only child, a daughter, Debbie O. Jones, and her husband, Travis Jones; two nieces, Joyce Blackerby and Linda Gibb; three nephews, Jim Birdsong, Fred Johnson, Jr., and Earl Johnson; and many loving great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a wonderful caregiver, Dedra Clay.
Services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Valhalla Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Dr. Levan Parker officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
