Obituary

Virgil "Skip" Boley, 69, of Cantonment, Florida, entered eternal rest with the Lord on July 13, 2022.

Skip, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, managed a successful chain of restaurants (Rally's Hamburgers) throughout the area, which allowed him to employ many and serve the community during the late 80's and 90's.
Skip enjoyed playing chess, music, expressing his sense of humor, and loving his grandchildren with all of his heart and soul.  He was an avid follower of SEC football and loved his Auburn Tigers.  War Damn Eagle!
Skip is preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Boley; mother, Jacqueline Boley; brother, Jim Boley.  He is survived by his daughters, Angela McKinlay (Doug) and Melody Schmutz (Aaron); grandchildren, Dianna Schmutz, Jimmy Schmutz, Meadow McKinlay, Breeze McKinlay, and Bella Manus.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at Valhalla Funeral Home and Cemetery in Midfield, Alabama.  Visitation from 10am-12pm with graveside service to follow, daughters officiating.
